Mit dieser Arbeit werden die Entwicklungen in der Diagnostik und Therapie thematisiert und in den Kontext der Etablierung des CTEPH-Zentrums am Campus Kerckhoff der Justus-Liebig-Universität an der Kerckhoff-Klinik gestellt.Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension can be curatively treated by pulmonary endarterectomy. Recently, the treatment was complemented by targeted medical therapy and balloon pulmonary angioplasty.
