The dataset consists of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy data for different single-and tri-layer cells of solid electrolytes. The data was exported from EC-lab measurement files as a text file. For a series of spectra, one step can be identified by the "cycle number" column. The spectra were measured at 25 °C, followed by two measurements at -40 °C and further measurements with an increment of 10 °C and an additional step at 25 °C inbetween and at the end of the series. An example file for the used Arrhenius procedure is included. For smaller files, the spectra were only recorded at 25 °C. The spectra were obtained using a Biologic VMP300. XPS data, including the fits as separate columns were exported from CasaXPS. SEM data for the different interfaces of disassembled tri-layers is added both with and without annotations in separate subfolders. XRD diffractogramm data is included along with CIF files for the reference material crystal structures. Abstract of the publication: "Despite the excellent processability and high conductivity of thiophosphate solid electrolytes, a single material may not meet all requirements for solid-state battery cells. Nevertheless, most research overlooks the potential for hetero-electrolyte resistances between different ionic conductors. In this study, we explicitly confirm that the hetero-electrolyte resistance is negligible for this class of materials. Rather, the microscopic contact poses a minor yet addressable challenge when combining different thiophosphate electrolytes. We also evaluate the suitability of impedance cells with blocking electrodes, highlighting that they can easily lead to an overestimation of the hetero-electrolyte resistance."
