Konzeption und Aufbau eines Data Dictionary für die Tumordokumentation mit Bereitstellung von Methoden zur Pflege und Abfrage

Abstract

In dieser Dissertation wird ein Data Dictionary zur Unterstützung der Dokumentation von Tumorerkrankungen vorgestellt, das verschiedene, in der Tumordokumentation häufig eingesetzte Klassifikationen und ihre semantischen Beziehungen zueinander abbildet und applikationsunabhängig verschiedene Dienste zur Verfügung stellt. Es wird dargestellt, wie die Quelldaten für das Data Dictionary aufbereitet worden sind, wie und zu welchem Zweck die Zugriffsmethoden entwickelt worden sind, wie das Data Dictionary zu aktualisieren ist und welche Einsatzmöglichkeiten sich für das Data Dictionary ergeben. In this thesis, a data dictionary to support cancer documentation is presented. It holds several common cancer classifications and their relations between each other. Also, there are application-independent methods provided in order to access information stored in the data dictionary. It is shown how the raw data was made fit for and mapped to the data dictionary, how the access methods were developed and which tasks they are meant to perform, and how the data dictionary can be updated. Possible applications for the data dictionary are demonstrated and discussed.
