The dissertation includes four papers on the subject of governance and accounting. Specifically, the four papers investigate the implementation of Big Data in the banking sector, the structure of termination fees in acquisition contracts, the role of enforcement institutions in the processing of accounting-related information by capital markets and the influence of director incentives on the composition of directorship portfolios.
