Abstract

The data stored in this dataset are associated with the publication titled “Extracellular vesicles from canine mesenchymal stem cells – Isolation, Characterization, and miRNA Definition following Interleukin-1ß and Shockwave treatment”. The data consists of raw data from next-generation sequencing analysis of extracellular vesicles (EVs), with a particular focus on microRNA (miRNA). The EVs were derived from canine mesenchymal stem cells that were previously treated with various stimuli (Interleukin 1 beta = IL1b, extracorporeal shockwave = SW, insulin-transferrin-selenite = ITS) or left untreated as a negative control. There are a total of three different donors (dog 1 – dog 3). The data are available in FASTQ format (sequencing read data); due to the data size, they are provided in compressed format within a .gz compressed file.
