Einfluss ausgewählter Schädelakupunkturpunkte auf schmerzbedingte Bewegungseinschränkungen bei Schulter-Arm-Syndrom und Lendenwirbelsäulen-Syndrom

Abstract

Grundlagen: In dieser Studie wurde die Wirksamkeit der Schädelakupunktur nach Yamamoto bei akutem Schulter-Arm-Syndrom und LWS-Syndrom als alternative Schmerzbehandlung zu den konventionellen Theampieformen untersucht. Methoden: Es wurden 90 Patienten mit Schulter-Arm-Syndrom und 60 Patienten mit LWS-Syndrom untersucht. Alle Patienten (n = 150) erhielten nach Randomisierung zunächst eine Akupunkurbehandlung eines entsprechenden YNSA-Akupunkturpunktes (Verumbehandlung), eines Placeboakupunkturpunktes oder eine Behandlung mit einem inaktivierten Softlaser. Innerhalb von 3 Tagen erfolgte bei allen Patienten eine zweite Behandlung mit der Verumakupunktur. Die Schmerzintensität wurde mittels der visuellen Analogskala (Skala 0-10) ermittelt, des weiteren die Änderung der Beweglichkeit vor und nach den Behandlungen. Ergebnisse: Nach Behandlung mit der Verumakupunktur kam es bei Patienten mit Schulter-Arm-Syndrom zu einer signifikanten Verbesserung der Beweglichkeit (p < 0,0001), bei Patienten mit LWS-Syndrom konnte keine signifikante Verbesserung nachgewiesen werden, lediglich eine Tendenz zur besseren Beweglichkeit. Eine signifikante Schmerzreduktion konnte beim Schulter-Arm-Syndrom nachgewiesen werden (p<0,0001), beim LWS-Syndrom nur eine deutlicher Rückgang der Schmerzen (p=0,0137). Schlussfolgerung: Die Studie zeigt, dass die YNSA bei Schulter-Arm-Syndrom eine gute Alternative zu den herkömmlichen Behandlungsmethoden darstellt, bei LWS-Syndrom jedoch lediglich als ergänzende Methode eingesetzt werden sollte.

Bases: In this study the effectiveness of cranial acupuncture was examined to Yamamoto with acute shoulder arm syndrome and LWS syndrome as an alternative pain treatment to the conventional therapy options. Methods: 90 patients with shoulder arm syndrome and 60 patients with LWS syndrome were examined. All patients (n = 150) received, after being randomised, at first an acupuncture treatment of a suitable acupuncture point YNSA (Verum treatment), a placebo acupuncture point or a treatment with an inactivated soft laser. Within 3 days the second treatment with the Verum acupuncture occurred with all patients. The pain intensity was determined by means of the visual analogous scale (scale 0-10), furthermore the change of the mobility before and after the treatments. Results: After treatment with the Verumacupuncture it came to a significant improvement of the mobility by patients with shoulder arm syndrome (p <0,0001), with patients with LWS syndrome no significant improvement could be proved, merely a trend towards better mobility. A significant pain reduction could be proven with the shoulder arm syndrome (p <0,0001),where as with the LWS syndrome, only a significant reduction of pain (p=0,0137). Conclusion: The study shows, that the YNSA show a good alternative to the customary methods of treatment with shoulder arm syndrome, nevertheless, with LWS syndrome, they should be used merely as a complementary method.
