Das Pflanzenkleid des Naheberglandes und des südlichen Hunsrücks in ökologisch-geographischer Sicht

Abstract

Ziel der Untersuchung war eine ökologisch-geographische Vegetationsmonographie des Naheberglandes und des südlichen Hunsrück. Die Ergebnisse basieren auf Feldforschungen in den Jahren 1959-1961. Zum Text gehört eine detaillierte Vegetationskarte der Region.Nach dem historischen Abriss werden die geologischen, petrographischen und morphologischen Verhältnisse des Nahebergelandes und der benachbarten Einzellandschaften geschildert. Der erste Hauptteil enthält eine Darstellung der Beziehungen zwischen Klima, Bodentypen und Vegetation. Der zweite Hauptteil behandelt die floren- und faunengeographischen Verhältnisse des Untersuchungsgebietes mittels einer landschaftsökologischen Betrachtung, die von Vegetationskarte, -skizzen und -profilen begleitet wird. Im dritten Teil werden die Vegetationsverhältnisse der Einzellandschaften beschrieben. Im letzten Teil werden die Pflanzenformationen und Pflanzengesellschaften in ihrer standörtlichen Differenzierung und ökologischen Bedingtheit dargestellt.

This investigation aims at presenting the relationship between vegetation, ecology and geography in the hilly regions near the Nahe river and the adjacent southern Hunsrück region. The results are based on field work conducted in the period of 1959-1961. The text is accompanied by a detailed vegetation map.After an historical overview the geological, petrographical and morphological conditions of the examined region are described. In the first main part the relationships between climate, soil types and vegetation are presented. The second part deals with the relationship between the region´s geography and the existing fauna and flora. This is accompanied by various vegetation maps, drafts and profiles. The third part takes a close look at the vegetational conditions in the various individual natural regions. The last part provides a description of plant formations and associations based on their location and geographical conditions.
